As a dedicated full-time college student pursuing a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication at George Washington University, I have earned accreditation as a professional photographer specializing in street, portrait, and digitally manipulated photography.
Having honed my craft through courses abroad and in the US, I've had the privilege of learning from some of the most esteemed photographers in the field. This immersive experience culminated in my most recent portfolio project, which garnered multiple awards. I've put my skills into practice as an Editor for my high school newspaper, The Aquila, and my hometown magazine, Stroll in Palos Park.
In 2022, I embarked on a compelling summer research project mentored by a Northwestern University Graduate Student. I remain passionate about amplifying the voices and experiences of International and American LGBTQ+ Students.
As a second-year university student, I am an Assistant Photo Editor for the GW Hatchet Newspaper. I take various assignments and provide visuals for articles my peers write. Furthermore, I contributed to the Public Affairs Committee for the Phi Alpha Delta Fraternity GW chapter. While seamlessly working with the team, my job has included social media marketing, event coordination, photography, and advertising.
In 2024, I expanded my professional experience as a Public Affairs Intern at the Legal Services Corporation in Washington, D.C., where I assisted with drafting press releases, engaging with government officials, and creating social media content to boost the organization’s public presence. Additionally, I served as a Social Media Marketing Intern at Experior Global, managing content creation and campaign ideation to promote community engagement.
